Horizontal integration
Horizontal integration is the process of a company increasing in their goods and products at the same part of the supply chains. This could happen through expansion of the company or acquisition, merger. Acquisition is an asset or object bought or obtained. A merger is a combination between two things, this especially happens between companies.

Vertical integration
Vertical integration is when a media company has two different business/ company in the same chain of products and production. It is also When a company expands its business into areas that are at different points on the same production path, such as when a manufacturer owns its supplier and/or distributor.
