The analysis research that we made for our chosen theme which was comedy romance was extremely helpful because when we were filming we used the research to guide us and make the film like the research. Unfortunately, the film didn’t end up as we wanted it to be because it was either that the place we wanted to film was taken by other students or it was that the camera wasn’t ready to use.

My role for this introduction was filming, acting and editing the sound on the software called adobe Photoshop cc 2015.5. When we took the pictures for the location I think it was helpful because it was like a guide line and it kept the story line from ‘a to b’ in check. Also I think the treatment was helpful as well because it showed the blurb which summons the short film. The storyboard was helpful because it shows each shot to use in each scene.

For my production is was successful in a way because we filmed all the stages that we planned and a bit extra which was when the father got chocked by the boy friend of his daughter. I think this was a good idea because you can show more camera movement which gives you more marks and for the film itself it makes the film more exciting to watch because it increases in suspension and you would realise it coming.

The strengths of the film is the acting itself because we didn’t laugh and we kept the story as it is and not confused the audience with the story and gave a clear understanding of what’s going on. Also, we used all the shots that been given to us such as close up shot and wide shot.

My audiences feedback was ok because they said that the short film itself is good however the editing of the film wasn’t as up to stand as it should be. I agree to this statement because the introduction looks like it has been done by PowerPoint and the music playlist keeps turning on and off whenever it feels like it so It means that we haven’t edited it properly. One other feedback I have given was about the voices that were made by the students in the college and it was suggested that the noise should have been muted of faded because it makes the short film sound unorganised.

1. One of the improvements that could be made for the short film is the introduction and it could be more colourful and more exciting for the audience to watch.
2. Another improvement I could make is the voice overs made by the students that were from the college, what I can improve from this is that I could mute their voices to make the short film more interesting and professional to watch
3. Another improvement that I could make is to use the tripod and not hand held for certain areas of the short film for example when they were getting married I could've used the tripod to show the environment and also kept the camera more steady that let it wobble in my hands also it makes the film look more professional to watch as well.
